Safety
As a business user, you need to have confidence in your vehicle. So the Ford Transit can take plenty of tough treatment.

Ford Transit One-Stop
Safety
The Ford Transit’s reinforced body structure offers plenty of all-round passive protection. Plus a wealth of sophisticated active safety features too. These include four-wheel disc brakes with ABS (anti-lock braking system) and electronic brake-force distribution to help prevent the rear wheels from locking-up, particularly when driving unladen.

In addition, every Ford Transit benefits from numerous practical safety features, including 3-point seat belts for all seating positions, a driver’s airbag, and optional front passenger’s airbag*. Visibility is enhanced by large exterior door mirrors with wide angle lenses.

ISOFIX anchorage points are provided on second row vehicle seats, in the centre and offside positions, to ensure the secure installation and easy removal of child seats.

*Note: A child seat should never be placed in the front passenger seat when the Ford vehicle is equipped with an operational front passenger’s airbag.
