MUSTANG MACH-E CHARGING

Everything you need to know about charging your Mustang Mach-E.

MUSTANG MACH-E CHARGING

You’ve a range of charging options. For home charging, you can simply plug the Mustang Mach-E into your regular mains supply. Alternatively, an optional Ford Connected Wallbox delivers faster home charging, for a full battery overnight. Use the FordPass smartphone app to manage home charging schedules, so your electric car is ready to go when you are.

FordPass can also locate convenient public charging points along your planned route, which you can share with your navigation system. You get access to the BlueOval™ Charge Network too, with more than 300,000 public charging stations across Europe, with over 16,000 available in the UK. Plus, the IONITY high-speed DC BlueOval™ Charge Network, with over 1,600 high-power charging points at European locations.

CHARGING SOCKETS & CABLES

Mustang Mach-E comes with two charging cables: one for recharging at home, the other for recharging in public. For home use, the Universal Charge Cable has an adaptor so you can plug into a domestic 3-pin socket. You also get a cable to use at AC public charging stations, as not all have their own ones built-in. All the high-power DC public charging stations feature special, built-in charging cables, so you don’t need to bring one for these.

CHARGING AT HOME

Charging your Mustang Mach-E at home is as straightforward as charging your smartphone. Simply plug into a conventional wall socket using the Ford Universal Charge Cable that’s supplied with your vehicle.

Alternatively, an optional Ford Connected Wallbox home charging point offers greater convenience with faster charging times than a domestic socket. It has also been designed to work with the FordPass app, so you can manage your charging schedule remotely.

HOME CHARGING POINT

The Ford Connected Wallbox is an optional home charging point and your fastest home charging option. It can recharge over 20 miles of range every hour, and will complete a full charge overnight. We can help to arrange the installation of a Ford Connected Wallbox through our specialist installer British Gas.

HOME SOCKET CHARGING

The supplied Ford Universal Charge Cable can be plugged into a normal home socket. Charging is about 8 miles of range per hour and useful for when you’re away visiting friends without any charging facility.

As with the Ford Connected Wallbox, we recommend you consult a qualified electrician to check any sockets you intend to use to charge your car.
